Our Saint Jude Thaddeus canvas in a gold museum frame portrays the apostle and "Saint of the Impossible" with a flame above his head and an image of Christ pulled to his chest. Honor this friend of Christ, and order for yourself or as a perfect personal gift to a friend, relative, or religious who has a devotion to St. Jude!

St. Jude Thaddeus was one of Christ's first Apostles, while also being Jesus' cousin. He authored the book of Jude, a letter to the early churches of the East, while also doing much traveling and sharing the Gospel. A flame is usually depicted above his head as a symbol of the flames that descended upon the Apostles at Pentecost; and he caresses an image of Jesus near his heart for a miracle he worked for a king who had leprosy - the king was cured with this image of Jesus, given to St. Jude by Jesus! For a long period of time, St. Jude was overlooked due to his name being close to Judas Iscariot's, the man who betrayed Christ. However, Jesus inspired devotion to St. Jude through St. Bridget of Sweden, proclaiming him "Patron Saint of the Impossible." St. Jude, pray for us and increase our hope!

This particular item is an archival-quality giclée canvas in a beautiful gold cast frame. Handcrafted in Steubenville, Ohio, this touching devotional piece is sure to be treasured for years to come!

Nelson framed canvases are second only to the original masterpieces themselves! The ornate frames support our breathtaking giclée religious canvases. Giclee is a french word that means "sprayed ink," and it refers to our museum-quality printing process whereby 8 different colored inks combine to create millions of colors that are slowly sprayed into canvas material. This high-tech method of art reproduction offers the highest possible fidelity to the original work and results in a clear depiction with colors as good (or sometimes better) than the original painting. Under archival conditions, giclée canvases have a total color fidelity guarantee for 70-100 years.

For the faithful Catholic that wishes their sacred art to be blessed with holy water: canvases are sparingly water repellent, so while a typical blessing should not damage the canvas whatsoever, those who favor more robust uses of holy water should take caution near the art. ;)

~This canvas is 24x30 (this only refers to the image size, not the frame.)~
