With the escalation of the Coronavirus to a global pandemic, the need for prayer is all the more urgent. To support this, we are offering holy cards for as long as the crisis goes on.

"And we know that to them that love God, all things work together unto good, to such as, according to his purpose, are called to be saints." (Romans 8:28)

This 2.5"x4.25" holy card features Our Lord Holding the Eucharist, and an act of Spiritual Communion by St. Alphonsus.

The back reads:

"Act of Spiritual Communion
ST. ALPHONSUS LIGUORI

My Jesus,
I believe that You are present in the
Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive
You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my
heart. I embrace You as if You
were already there and unite myself
wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated
from You.
Amen."

Laminated pack: contains 25 cards.

    Spiritual Communion Holy Card

Posted by Barbara Majerus on 20th Jun 2020

Saying an act of spiritual communion has been a God-send for me during these difficult Covid times. I ordered these cards to donate to my local parish. Although this specific prayer is not the same one that I say, I hope that others will take up the practice of saying this prayer on days when they are unable to attend Mass and receive Our Lord in the Eucharist.
