This 4"x6" card explains the history of the Jesse Tree devotion. Traditionally, the tree is decorated with handmade ornaments with stories from all over the old testament tracing back the genealogy of Jesus.

It is a devotional practice meant to remind the faithful of the promises of God and to show how Christ is the fulfillment of all those promises.

Like the Advent Wreath Faith Explained Card, these are useful for handing out at churches, putting next to the Jesse Tree in your church, giving out to your friends, giving out in stores when you sell ornaments and anywhere else you'd like to teach about this devotion.

It is our hope and prayer that these cards be used to spread the knowledge of this wonderful Advent tradition that Catholics have practiced for centuries.
