Description

Alabaster bookends showing an image of Jesus holding His Precious Body and Precious Blood, and the "Anima Christi" prayer. Keeping heavy books in line, they both organize and decorate your home. These bookends make the perfect personal First Communion gift.

The bookends are made from stone-cast alabaster here in our shop in Steubenville, Ohio. Alabaster is a building and decorating material created from the mineral gypsum that has been used since the time of the ancient Egyptian Pharaohs. It boasts an attractive smooth finish. 

Each measures roughly 6" x 8", including the 4"x 6" inset image plaque, and is 3" deep at the base.

 

Text reads:

"Soul of Christ, sanctify me. 
Body of Christ, heal me. 
Blood of Christ, drench me. 
Water from the side of Christ, wash me. 
Passion of Christ, strengthen me. 
Good Jesus, hear me. 
In Your wounds shelter me. 
From turning away keep me.
