This reproduction of "The Woman of the Apocalypse" was painted by Leopold Kupelwieser in the 19th century. In it, Mary is standing upon the serpent, over the moon, with the sun at her back, a crown on her head and her hands outstretched.

Leopold Kupelwieser was a painter involved in the Nazarene movement in the 1800's. His talent was recognized at an early age, and he entered art college at the age of 12. He later became a professor of history painting, and friends with Franz Schubert.

This image comes as a fine art print with a white border.
