Adoration of the Christ Child
Artist Unknown
ca. 1515

An unknown understudy of the brilliant Dutch artist Jan Joest of Kelkar used dramatic lighting effects to draw attention to the Baby Jesus in this painting from the early 1500's. While the technique alone makes the original oil painting of the Nativity a worthy piece of art, the artist also included an angel and shepherd who appear to have down syndrome. This unique touch reminds us of the beauty of all human lives, for Christ was born to save all men and women. This Renaissance masterpiece is currently on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, New York.

With a classic gold frame that adds style in any room, this artwork is the perfect gift for your family and friends. See this in your home, reminding you of the beauty of the Christmas message: Christ has come! Printed and framed by local workers in Steubenville, OH.

When the framed print arrived, it was beyond my expectations and I couldn't be more pleased with the quality and the quickness of delivery. Also, it was packed with great care.
