Madonna and Child by Enric M. Vidal Rustic Wood Plaque
Madonna and ChildNote: Dimensions below apply to shipping information. Extra product info can be found in the description.
This rustic wood plaque features Madonna and Child.
This simple yet moving work by late 19th century and early 20th century Spanish artist Enric Monserday Vidal captures Mary quietly holding her infant Jesus in a peaceful garden, with the angels around them in wonder and adoration. Jesus's humanity is expertly captured in His small newborn form, while His divinity is shown by the angelic hosts that have come to be with their Lord. Mary's heavenly Queenship is shown by her crown, robes, and privilege of being the nearest to the Christ Child.
Our Rustic Wood Plaques are designed, printed and stained to give a rustic, weathered look. They are constructed from a wood composite in our shop in Steubenville, Ohio. All sizes are printed on a single board, however larger sizes are printed to look like slats.

Lovely!
This is my favorite image of Our Lady...I bought the Christmas cards of this image from CTTM last year and hope you see this image on the triptych's soon! (hint hint:) - my daughter saved up and bought this for her room and it is beyond lovely - so sturdy and READY TO HANG (thanks for that!!). Been a customer for years but continue to be awed by the quality and the incredible images they use on their items - gonna order another of these for a friend for Christmas :)
