This gold framed art features "Christ Enthroned", a detail from a painting by Jan Gossaert.

Jan Gosseart was a renowned french painter in the early 16th century. He was a leader in the style known as Romanism which brought Italian Renaissance painting elements to northern Europe. Gosseart devoted his attention to a limited variety of biblical themes, mostly those of Adam and Eve, Mary and the Child, and episodes from the Passion of Christ.
